Science Field Trip to Mt. Wilson Observatory

Our science students embarked on an exciting field trip to Mt. Wilson Observatory, where they explored the wonders of astronomy. Nestled in the San Gabriel Mountains, Mt. Wilson is home to some of the most historic telescopes in the world. Students had the opportunity to:
- Tour the 100-inch Hooker Telescope, once the largest in the world.
- Learn about the history of astronomical discoveries made at Mt. Wilson.
- Engage in hands-on activities and discussions with astronomers.
- Observe celestial objects through solar telescopes (weather permitting).
This immersive experience deepened their understanding of space science and sparked curiosity about the universe beyond our planet.
